Sharmin Carter, CPA, Assistant Controller
Sharmin (34) joined Pomona in 2006 and focuses on fund accounting and financial reporting. She has two years of private equity experience. Prior to joining Pomona, Sharmin was an accounting manager at Octagon Worldwide (a division of The Interpublic Group of Companies) and a financial analyst at General Motors Asset Management. Sharmin received a BBA from City University of New York and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).
